The University of Gloucestershire was concerned about application figures. With digital advertising and email channels exhausted, we decided to engage prospects using more traditional postal mail.
We created sets of ‘wall-art’ postcards, each answering the golden question, ‘Why study this degree at the University of Gloucestershire?’. We sourced 23,000 prospective student details, all registered with UCAS as interested in making a university application for related degree subjects that year.
Postcards were designed, printed and mailed within 15 days, costing just under £10,000. The campaign worked, providing an impressive return on investment – up to £5.4million in tuition fees, a 9% application increase from the previous year.
